The conical abutments in the twinKon® 4 systems have been designed to obtain progressive emergence of the prosthesis.
The shoulder is wide enough to encourage the passive fit of the bridge framework.
The tapered abutment is embedded on the external tapered part by friction and screwed into the implant using the prosthesis fixing screw.
This assembly benefits from the characteristics of tapered connection systems.
The conical abutment comes in two diameters: 4.3 mm and 5.4 mm.
The Ø4.3 mm conical abutment has a periodontal height of 2.9 mm to facilitate its installation, a specific activator is available.
Impression-taking is carried out directly on the conical abutment, with Pick-Up, Pop-Up, or digital impression copings.
A cover cap is available with a height of 3 mm to protect the abutment while the bridge is being constructed by the prosthetist.
The Ø 5.4 mm conical abutment is available in periodontal heights of 2.4 mm and 3.4 mm.
Impression-taking is carried out directly on the conical abutment with Pick-Up impression copings.
A cover cap is available to protect the abutment while the bridge is being constructed by the prosthetist.
Note: we recommend tightening of secondary components to 20 N-cm, using a torque wrench.
